What is a Press Kit?

Press kits are an essential marketing tool of your film submissions to film festivals. It is vital that you submit a press kit with your film, which should include:

1. Poster and/or DVD jacket (UKIFF recommends an A3 size poster).
2. Synopsis (a brief summary of a paragraph explaining what your film is about).
3. Photo Stills (2-4 photographs, in colour or black and white, of the cast re-enacting key moments of the movie, and of the crew in production) 8x10cm
4. Biography of Director (a brief introduction about the director, with head shot)
5. Biography of Cast and Crew (include information about the actors and others who have contributed to the films' production)
6. Trailer (to be no more than 1 minute in length)
