Short Synopsis - Ten-year-old cowherd Ghasem lives and labours in the foothills of the majestic mountains, not far from the Iranian city of Babol.

His mother is dead and his only companions are the cows which he lovingly tenders. Back home his father and stepmother give him a rough time.

In his sensitively constructed and visually sophisticated portrait, Iranian director Mahdi Moniri presents a boy who has been deprived of carefree childhood.
