2012 Poster Competition

This year’s Poster competition will see the winning artwork featured in all print and digital media for the festival, which will include a run of 25,000 physical prints.

The Festival encourages entrants to develop their own themes for the poster. Submissions must contain a variation of the original image designed by Sam Moshaver (above). Entries will be accepted in any media, whether photography, painting, illustration or graphic art. The art work should incorporate the following elements:

  • 1st Festival original image designed by Sam Moshaver (In any theme or style)
  • London Iranian Film Festival Logo
  • 3rd London Iranian Film Festival
  • 16-23 November 2012

    • Submission of posters to the competition for the Festival is FREE.

    When to Submit?

    Once your application has been received, you will be sent a confirmation email. Each applicant may send a maximum of three images.

    Poster Submission Guidlines:

    • Submissions must contain a variation of the original image designed by Sam Moshaver for the 1st London Iranian Film Festival.
    • Entries are open to all amateur and professional artists.
    • There are no age restrictions.
    • There is no submission fee to enter your poster.
    • A maximum of 3 entries per person will be accepted.
    • Posters can be in any style, and the Festival will consider all entries.
    • Entrants will be notified if their poster has been selected.
    • All submissions must be the original work of the artist

      • For finalist(s), the following formats will need to be provided:

    • Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
    • TIFF 300dpi
    • Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
    • Scalable vector files for printing (*.ai, *.pdf) in RGB
